COMMENT OF THE PROFFESOR ABOUT THE PROPOSAL OF THE PROJECT:
Sounds very promising. As you develop your project, make sure your focus and intentions are clear. Ensure that you explain your purpose in your artist’s statement and show how the project reflects that purpose. My biggest concern, and you’ll want to address this, is that this project fits with purpose and scope of THIS class. I like your idea of bringing awareness to indigenous groups in general, but since the focus of this course is Latin America and you are taking inspiration from a Latin American artist, could you include Indigenous Latin America in your work? We want to make sure that the project doesn’t go off topic, if that makes sense.
