ASSIGNMENT ONE
A client has as a capital sum from retained earnings over £10,000,000 that is available for investment. They request that you identify a FTSE 100 company and a rival business outside of the UK, conduct analysis on the latest four years of annual reports and report back to them. More specifically, they require you to evaluate performance, and accounting and financial practices. To plan their finances, they require that the findings identify which company is a suitable investment. In addition, the clients speak Spanish and one uses a screen reader because they are Neurodivergent. They ask that you comment on the accessibility of the annual reports of your companies and that the report you create is created in a form that is accessible.
YOU SHOULD
- a) Evaluate and analyse the latest four years of annual reports using appropriate theory and methods taught in-classes during semester one;
- b) Investigate international differences and accounting harmonization;
- c) Write a report of 2000 words comparing the performance and practices of the two companies;
- d) Advise the client which company is a suitable investment;
- e) And comment on the accessibility of the annual reports of your two companies, create an accessible report, append a copy of the accessibility check and all training completed.
ALL ANALYSIS MUST BE ATTACHED TO THE APPENDICES OF THE REPORT.
